Thursday: Thursday, Sept. 17th After Prom will be serving a meal at 5:00 pm in the cafeteria. It will be a free will donation during coronation.  


 

Friday: We are happy to announce that as a part of our Homecoming Activities next week, NHS is once again bringing in Kona Ice to the Colo building for grades 6-12 to enjoy!  The truck will be here on Friday, Sept. 18th.  As before, all slushies are $5.  They take cash or card.  You can pre-pay as well.  Here is the link.  Go Royals!

Parents: your students should be bringing home a picture order form this week.  Photo day is Wednesday, September 30th (district wide) . Seniors if you are not going to submit a senior picture, please have one taken with Stalzer Photography.  

 

Friday Night: The Colo-NESCO Booster Club is happy to announce that all Colo-NESCO students Kindergarten thru 12th can attend Friday's Homecoming football game for free. All students 6th grade and lower need to be accompanied by an adult.

The Colo-NESCO Booster Club would like to thank the Colo-NESCO School, Colo-NESCO Activities Department and all the Colo-NESCO Booster Club Sponsors for helping to make this happen.

 

 

 

 

YSS Teen Club is off and running and it’s for  6th to 8th grade with 9th to 12th grade open to volunteers! The program is run Tuesday thru Thursday afternoons, after school until 5pm! The office has registration packets.  

 

TOMORROW: Tuesday, September 15th: The National  Guard will be set up in the lunchroom from 11:30 - 12:00

 

Wednesday: Any high school student wanting to join FCCLA should get a membership form from Mrs. Engelken. FCCLA's first meeting will be during advisory on Wednesday, September 16th.  

 

Homecoming dress up days: Monday, September 14th: - Construction, Tuesday- Hit the Hay wear your PJS, Wednesday- Inflatable/Costume Day,Thursday- Senior Citizen Day, Friday- Spirit Day 

 

Due Tuesday: The office has homecoming dance guest request forms.  This form is for any 9th - 12th grade CN student requesting to bring a non CN student to the homecoming dance.  The deadline to return this form is: Tuesday, September 15th and the dance is on Saturday, September 19th from 8pm - 10:30pm and the cost is $5 per person. 

 

 

Seniors: Josten will be here on Monday, September 21st to talk about graduation announcements

 

Sophomores: Jostens will be here Monday, September 21st to talk about Letter Jackets and Class Rings 

 

District Wide picture day is on Wednesday, September 30th.  Seniors: if you are not planning on submitting a photo for the yearbook PLEASE get your picture taken on picture day with Stalzer Photography.

Drivers Education Options: 

 This course is required for any student who wishes to acquire their drivers' license before the age of eighteen. Our program follows the state guidelines of 30 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours each of behind-the-wheel and in-car observation. We stay current with the new D.O.T. regulations and will provide online instruction that will fulfill all needed hours to complete that objective. www.terronesdrivingacademy.com
